An experience that gives credit to the corporation behind the content.
Overview

Time Warner, Inc. is the organization responsible for some of the most iconic TV series, films, and stories of our time. But their role wasn’t clear, and their brand was often confused with Time, Inc. or Time Warner Cable, their subsidiaries. They needed a corporate website that clearly defined their brand, clarified their role, and showcased their incredible work, all without losing seriousness and credibility.

Our goal was to design an experience that did justice to the beautiful ideas they bring to life, without sacrificing the functional needs of a corporate site.

Beautiful Organization

Time Warner, Inc. is responsible for a wide variety of content, delivered through a vast network of channels. From CNN breaking news to Oscar-winning movies to HBO’s latest hit show, the site needed to demonstrate this breadth without complicating the user experience. The clean design let the imagery, video, social media content, and news tell the story.

Clearer Careers

A critical part of the redesign was the Careers section, because all applicants throughout the organization apply through this portal.

This section needed to serve a variety of different purposes: promote the culture and beliefs of the company, clarify the different subsidiaries, make it easy for candidates to discover roles, and lead them through the application process.

Results

A functional, beautiful solution that delivers real results

In more overtly connecting the company to its amazing content, the website created a stronger emotional connection with users, and made them care more about the brand. They saw an increase in inbound recruiting and a positive impact on investor relations.

In the first year of post-launch, we dramatically increased engagement on the site:

Five years later, they’ve evolved to become WarnerMedia, the corporate website continues to promote their content and tell their story as we designed it to.
